It's getting serious! T - 12 days

I’m pretty pissed off at the moment, I just wrote an entire neat blog entry that disappeared after I accidently pressed the “back button”. Such things ought to be saved when you’re logged in to a blog management program, but no no no… (:
Of obvious reasons, I’m writing this in Word first. I’ll try to keep it short though.

A list of my accomplishments so far:

Got my Visa for India.
Bought travel insurance.
Took a bike license!
Sold stuff for almost 3000 €.
Saved at least 1000 € for moving back to my folks the last two months.
Took a hell lot of vaccines and bought Malarone to the grand total of 450€!!! Ouch…
Became a member of the well growing community couchsurfing.com

Bought some “good to have stuff” and gadgets, the drawbacks in the account:

An Olympus compact camera with an underwater housing, for the wet days.

A Pentax K-x (dSLR) for quality pictures. (Love it!)
For the Pentax, a Joby Gorilla pod SLR Zoom. This has to be the most versatile camera pod out there, you can attach it to literally everything. It’s small, it’s light and it’s brilliant.

An antenna for my computer that enhances the wlan signal 300 times or so.

A 70l dry bag with a carrying harness, where I can put all my stuff in and don’t have to worry about my electronics even when I’m actually in the water!

A pair of climbing shoes, in hope of taking up my ancient climbing days. One love!

A mobile phone for 20 €! The name is Simpell Xd100 and it’s 9mm thick, the tasks you can perform with the device is making calls and sending texts. Genious!

An emergency charger for every mobile phone (almost). It gives you 30 min of talk time. All you need is an AA-battery, shouldn’t be so hard to find now should it?

A PacSafe safety system, an adjustable high-tensile stainless steel locking device, designed to cover and protect a variety of bags and packs from tampering, pilfering and theft.

An all-in-one door alarm and smoke detector, if your door opens the alarm will go off!
